As you may have read, last week I broke my T-Mobile MDA by dropping it from a moving buggy. After that happened I was in the market for a new phone. I was considering two choices: Apple’s iPhone or the T-Mobile Wing. Both seemed really cool and, to be honest with you, I was leaning more towards the iPhone. But after some research and reading some reviews I came to a decision.
Both phones have their benefits, but after considering all I decided to go with the T-Mobile Wing.

Check out a great site to buy consumer electronics online at rvronlinestores.com.
My brother Rick runs it. It has products from many categories like Auto audio/video, Computers & Accessories, Entertainment & Home Theater, and many more…
If what you’re looking for isn’t on the site, let me know and I can get it on there for you or contact him through the link provided on the site and I’m sure he can accommodate you.

While in St. George I spent time with my two best friends Ian and Noah! We had a great lunch together at a mexican restaurant called Irmita’s. They have the best quesadillas in the world! Ian and I each had the quesadilla and Noah had a huge sandwich. It was yummy!

I own, or should I say owned, a T-Mobile MDA cell phone. It has the Windows Mobile 5 operating system on it. I love it! I’ve used it so much to keep track of my calendar events, birthdays, tasks, and to take notes among other things.
Well this weekend, while visiting my brother Steven, he took me for a short ride on his buggy he just bought. We just went down the street and back. In this short time, I managed to drop my MDA on the pavement. I didn’t realize I had though. It wasn’t until he brought me back and took my niece Shamara for a ride when they found it lying on the road in pieces.
I was pretty bummed when they brought it to me. I tried to look on the bright side right away though, saying that “I can now buy me the iPhone!” But, here a few days later, I’m coming to realize that I probably can’t afford Apple’s iPhone.
The MDA is now discontinued and replaced with the T-Mobile Wing. I thought I might get this one instead, but it too is pretty expensive so I probably won’t. I’m not sure what I’ll do at the moment. But I definitely need to do something, since I’ve come to rely on a smartphone.

I recently had the opportunity to attend the baptism of my niece Shamara into the LDS church. She is my brother Stevens’ youngest daughter. His oldest daughter Shiann was baptized 2 years ago and he’s still got one more to go, his son Shaden.
My mother and her other grandmother each gave talks. My father gave the closing prayer while her other grandfather gave the opening prayer. My brother, her father Steven, baptized her. It’s always nice to see someone choose to follow the Lord’s commandments and come unto him. It was a great event.

I’ve been wanting an application for my cell phone with Windows Mobile 5 on it to sync my Pocket Outlook calendar with my Google calendars. There’s a few applications out there already that do this, but they all seem like they’re lacking functionality in one way or another. So I decided to write my own.
I downloaded the latest version of Google’s GData API which includes a library to interact with Google calendars. I am now in the middle of writing the software in C# using the .NET Compact 2.0 framework.
I plan to release it from my company’s website under the name ‘Google Calendar Sync’. I should have a version 1 release within the next few days. I plan to continue blogging about this as a product from now on at blog.demonomy.com and from a coding stand point at coding.jasonruesch.com.
