I decided I wanted to upgrade my desktop computer, which is a PC running Windows Vista that I built myself a few years back. A while back I bought an Apple MacBook Pro laptop. Since then I have fell in love with Macs! So I made a choice to not buy a new PC, but rather another Mac to replace my desktop. At first I thought to buy a Mac Pro, but that proved too expensive for me. So I then looked into the Mac Mini. That would be a good choice because I already have two 19″ LCD monitors that I could hook up to it, or at least use one of them on it. And it is small, cheap, and powerful…but not powerful enough for me. So I ended up getting a 24″ iMac, which is a 24″ LCD monitor with the computer built into it. I upgraded its memory from 1 GB to 4 GB and its keyboard and mouse to be bluetooth wireless. I love it! I installed Windows Vista on it to coincide with the Mac OS X Leopard that came on it. I’m convinced that Apple makes the best computers around.
